Welcome to
Life. Reimagined.
Color outside the lines. Create your happiness.
Fact:
Coloring has the ability to relax the amygdala, the fear center of your brain. (awesome, right?)
Coloring actually creates a similar state to meditating by reducing the thoughts of a restless mind. This results in mindfulness and quietness, which allows your mind to get some rest.
Treat yourself to some much-needed rest!
Reduce Stress and Anxiety + Increase Awareness.
Hi, I’m Jasmine.
I created this “I am 1 in 8” Coloring Page in honor of National Infertility Awareness Week.
I am personally, “1 in 8”
Going through my own journey, I felt so isolated. I hid my struggles to even those closest to me and it caused me added suffering. Coming out with my infertility struggles opened me up in ways I never imagined.
To a community of others on their own journeys and realizing I was far from alone and I did not have to do this alone. It opened me up to have discussions with those that were unaware and made them aware, educating them and giving them a different perspective. This information and perspective is one that they are then able to take and change how they approach others.
If telling my story, stops one person from “teasing” a co-worker, “why aren’t you pregnant or have kids yet???” – then it’s all worth it. (I can still feel that inner pain when I was asked that innocently so many times while I was trying to conceive. They never knew how much it hurt me.)
With all of this in mind, I have created this special “I’m 1 in 8” coloring page. My hope is that you take it and use it however you like. You can leave it as is. Color it (it’s therapy on it’s own!) and of course, share it if you feel comfortable.
Most of all, it reminds you that you are never alone in this.
With 💛,
Jasmine
