PROCESS:

  1. ACCEPT AND EMPATHIZE
    1. Stressed and full of anxiety every morning about getting to work on time
    2. Gather information
  2. DEFINE “the problem”
    1. Problem: How can I get to work on time?
      1. How can I reduce my stress and anxiety in the morning?
  3. IDEATE – ideas towards helping solve the problem
    1. Get up earlier
    2. Prep before hand
    3. Get help
    4. Change schools
    5. Change jobs
    6. Have them eat breakfast on the go (not even go through sitting down)
  4. PROTOTYPE –
    1. Prep before hand (check)
      1. Everything out as much as possible
      2. Result: still late – due to when they get up
    2. Get help
      1. Realized I still didn’t leave on time ..
        1. The A HA! MOMENT!
          1. I want to actually spend time with them – they are the priority not getting to work on time
          2. Reframe: how do I decrease stress and anxiety in the morning?
          3. Be “okay” with not getting to work on time every day .. give myself some slack. .. I’m getting my work done and that is what matters, not that I come in right at 9 am
          4. Nothing is perfect!
          5. But – at this point this is perfect, imperfect versions
    3. Side notes:
      1. Still planning on adjusting sleep schedule – more time in the morning with them!
      2. Will change schools starting september
